Real Transformers

I can remember that my original First blog name was "Aice Sees Transformation" because every body in everyday living sees transformation and also bound for transformation... and in my childhood days I also like watching Transformers it always says "More than meets the eye!" in robotic voice ^_^ I can never forget that.

Now TRANSFORMERS' first day of showing in Movies everywhere here in the Philippines. Wish I can watch very soon if given a budget. T_T

Anyway, here is something from youTube that I saw named "Real Transformers"

so what do you think is that very cool?

The BENEFITS of MUSIC?

Music really helps me in so many ways, if I’m sad or happy and almost everything I do, especially if I want to concentrate or meditate just to avoid the noise on the environment. And as of the moment, I’m in love with someone and I hope he feels it somehow, that is why I’m pouring my heart out in songs, because I’m not that expressive in words and through music it helps me ease the burden.

Now, the best thing the music can help us transform is using music for transformation healing this is almost the same as the music therapy but not. In this way we are transformed into new individual to help us in our daily exertion. Will selecting an appropriate music that we like will give us best result? Frequently the music we are slightest involved to will have the most help (when played in the right sequence). Let’s say you are very irritated.Your first intuition is to place on some very infuriated music. Does it make easier, or does it kind of perpetuate how you experience? Yet, conversely if you play some gentle and cheerful music, by comparison to you’re presently feeling, it will result you to feel angrier! As you see, selecting music is never a easy one-shot process.

It is during your reaction that the touching/cellular memory may be unconstrained. Don’t assume that you have to just stay quiet and focus on the music! In reality, if the music inspires you to get up and do something or your mind begins to wander, allow, allow, allow! Allow all responses without judgment.

DON'T GIVE UP!

[Thank you so much for your comments guys ^_^ i really appreciate it. Ok due to the fact that "the person" am dedicating this poem didn't really "gave up" on me. So i will make it "give up"]

One of my instant poem that was inspired by too much thoughts of ......... anyway here it goes:

Don't give up easily
Try to break the walls if you can

Just don't give up on me
I want you to see who I am

Have patience in me
Coz I'm still in the process of healing

Sorry I can not trust that easily
But in time I will be.

Today's Leo Horoscope

nakaka-gulat naman etong horoscope na eto kasi medyo tinamaan talaga yung kung anong nararamdaman ko:

Dear ice,
Here is your horoscope
for Monday, June 25:

True connection can be a little bit frightening; it means that all the defenses and masks you carry around get stripped away. When you see the right opportunity, though, you'll realize the risk is worth it.

Meron akong nakitang kanta it may not be exactly the way i feel but its much closer to what and why i'm so afraid... these are dedicated to all the past Heartaches, specialy yun recent na matagal din kami in virtual relationship (lasted for years din un)...

[its just a part of the lyrics I copy-paste that I wanted to emphasize]
Because of you I never stray too far from the sidewalk
Because of you I learned to play on the safe side
So I don't get hurt
Because of you I find it hard to trust
Not only me, but everyone around me
Because of you I am afraid
I lose my way And it's not too long before you point it out
I cannot cry Because I know that's weakness in your eyes
I'm forced to fake, a smile, a laugh

Every day of my life My HEART can't possibly BREAK
When it wasn't even WHOLE to start with

You never thought of anyone else
You just saw your pain
And now I cry In the middle of the night
For the SAME damn thing
Because of you I tried my hardest just to forget everything
Because of you I don't KNOW HOW to let anyone ELSE IN
Because of you I'm ashamed of my life because it's empty
Because of you I am afraid

Nga pala, hindi naman sa fanatic ako sa mga ganito noh waaa....
kayo din bah naniniwala sa horoscope?

Für Elise! One of my favorite Piano Piece (^_^)

Wow! Absolutely fantastic, I was amaze by this video Fur Elise it is different from original but if you are piano enthusiast you would notice how the Staccato was played, Vivace! That you can dance with it.

A short history about this song Fur Elise; it was originally composed Ludwig Van Beethoven, I can remember the piano instructress taught us that Beethoven composed it for his beloved before he got completely deaf at the age of thirty.

I have this song in my website background www.ice9web.combecause it was my recital piece chosen by my instructor before I have to enter grade 2 in piano...

this is when I have to memorize Fur Elise that has 4 pages composition, (we always have to memorize the original composition in classical music) I have had a hard time because of the staccato tempo, the hardest part was the running notes, it took me so many months of practice just to play it perfectly before the recital, (because if I don’t I will be left behind) this piece indeed has the deepest memory in all of my piano piece lessons.

Now, it has been more than 5 years I have not played the piano (ever since I started college) I wonder if I can still play Für Elíse perfectly.

About the composer:

Artist: Ludwig Van Beethoven
Born: 15/16 December 1770, Bonn
Died: 26 March 1827, Vienna
Summary: One of the greatest and most radical composers of all time. A tormented genius, who went deaf in later life and never hear his final works, His nine symphonies are probably his greatest achievement, each one an unrivaled masterpiece, but he also wrote 5 piano concertos, piano sonatas, string quartets and one opera, Fidelio

and this is the TECHNOLOGY VERSION of Fur Elise

YOUR COMMENTS are HIGHLY APPRECIATED

Long Distance LOVE (June Bride Fever)

Being in love means being together - right?
But what if you live miles apart?

Making the decision

The first factor to consider is whether it is worth trying to make the long-distance relationship work. Certainly, at the start of a relationship, if you don't live close to each other it's tough but not an insurmountable problem. If you truly care for each other, you'll keep loving and move mountains in order to eventually move closer.

Can Long Distance Relationships Really Work?
Can't live with 'em, can't live without 'em. This common expression relates well to the problematic issue of long distance relationships, because when your relationship is put to through this particular test, its time to decide which of these opposing statements applies to you the most.

Remaining faithfully yours...
One option is to keep everything the way it is -- whether you are 5 miles or 5,000 miles away from each other. This way of thinking is very popular among young lovebirds, new to the journey of romance.

They tend to believe that physical space between them will not affect the solidity of the relationship because their "undying" love for each other can surpass this seemingly small obstacle. This often applies to couples that get separated for education reasons.

Do leave comments to tell me what you think? Thanks

Private Schools vs. Public Schools

Tomorrow classes will start in all University nation wide... State Universities, Private Institutions and the rest.
Your goal is to find a school that will meet your needs. But how do you choose between a public school and a private school?

Admissions
Public schools admit all children. By law, public schools must educate all children, including students with special needs. To enroll in a public school you simply register by filling out the necessary paperwork, and passed the entrance examination.

Private schools are selective. They are not obligated to accept every child, and in many private schools admission is very competitive.

Governance
Public or Private? The Debate Rages

Private school students typically score higher than public school students on standardized tests, but a study by the National Center for Education Statistics released in 2006 that took into account students' backgrounds told a different story.

Public school students in fourth and eighth grade scored almost as well or better in reading and math, except that private school students excelled in eighth-grade reading.

A Harvard University study challenged the results, using the same data but different methods. Researchers found that private schools came out ahead in 11 of 12 comparisons of students.

Private schools are not subject to as many state and federal regulations as public schools. Since private schools are funded independently, they are not subject to the limitations of state education budgets and have more freedom in designing curriculum and instruction.

Curriculum
Public schools offer a general program, designed for all children, which usually includes math, English, reading, writing, science, history and physical education. In addition to these key subjects, many public schools offer programs in music and art. In a public school, the substance of what children learn is mandated by the state and learning is measured through state standardized tests.

Private schools have the flexibility to create a specialized program for students. For example, private schools may use art or science in all classes, or take children on extended outdoor trips that blend lessons across the curriculum. Private schools can create their own curriculum and assessment systems, although many also choose to use standardized tests.

Teachers
Public schools: All teachers in a public school are usually state certified or, at a minimum, working toward certification. (PRC) Certification ensures that a teacher has gone through the training required by the state, which includes student teaching and coursework.

Private schools: Teachers in private schools may not be required to have certification, and instead often have subject area expertise and an undergraduate or graduate degree in the subject they teach.

Students
Public schools: The children at most public schools usually reflect the community. Students may be split up based on ability or interests, but in many public schools, there is a diversity of student backgrounds.

Private schools: The student population at a private school is determined through a selection process; all students must apply and be accepted in order to attend. Although students may be from different neighborhoods, they will probably have similar goals and interests. This tends to create a fairly homogenous student body.

Special Needs
Public schools: Due to special education laws, public schools must educate all children, and provide the necessary programs to meet their special needs. This means that most public schools have special education programs and teachers who are trained to work with students who have particular needs.

Private schools: Private schools do not have to accept children with special needs, and many choose not to (although there are a small number of private schools specifically designed for special needs children). As a result, most private schools do not have special education programs or teachers trained to work with students with severe special needs. Private schools will try to help all the students they admit, but extra resources may also come at an additional cost.

Class Size
Public schools: Many states recognize the value of small classes and have provided funding to keep class sizes big in grade school. As students become older, class size tends to get bigger in public schools, especially in large school districts and urban schools.

Private schools: Private schools are generally committed to providing small classes and individual attention to students. Many parents choose private schools for this reason.

The Bottom Line
There are a few fundamental differences between public and private schools, but here's the bottom line: There are great private schools and there are great public schools. The trick is finding the school that best fits to your needs. You may also want to consider public charter schools or homeschooling. It's a good idea to research the schools that interest you and, to get a true picture of the school, visit in person.

hmmm what do you think?
Private or Public schools?

your comments are highly appreciated.

AoV Philippines Outsourcing Instant Design test

AoV outsourcing to the Philippines, AoV Outsourcing service and Outsource to the Philippines AoV

I was surprise to receive a call exactly 7:00am asking me for a tutorial job (I just woke up so I thought it was computer and was happy that I finally found a job)
Then again I always confirm because talking to stranger needs clarifications before commitments

I ask “is that for computer tutorial sir?” and he said “no its for my child he is on grade 5 right now at Stella Maris Academy and I need someone who can tutor him with Math, Sciences and all that Academic stuff” so I humbly decline… and told him I have a friend, who is also a fresh graduate in BS-Elementary and looking for a tutorial job… so I gave him my friend’s number.

And then all of the sudden a company text me to check my email coz I got an online test… whew! This day keep on getting better… when last night I slept so late around 2:00am and now I have not have proper sleep and taking online exam… anyway, I have to do my best it told me to create a two design of the home page, in jpeg format, so here is what I created.

It also have a programming test in PHP and ASP but since I have not learned so much of that language am sure I was not able to passed that part.

I do not know if I passed the test but sure I did my best.

How to Stay Safe in the Sun

Hay its very hot (sobrang init talaga!) the sun is up so early and it remain so active even in the late afternoon!!! so here are some tips i research about SUN (ice is melting:)
Excess sun exposure can cause sunburn, skin damage, skin cancer (the most common form of cancer), cataracts, and heat stroke. Take the right precautions to avoid these hazards and enjoy the sun safely.
Steps

1. Select an appropriate sunscreen.
SPF 50+
SPF 50+
The most important thing to look for is SPF, which stands for "sun protection factor". This number describes how effective the sunscreen is. Look for at least SPF 30.
Look for both UVA and UVB coverage. This means that the sunscreen will block both kinds of damaging ultraviolet light.

Look for a PABA-free sunscreen. Para-aminobenzoic acid, or PABA, was used in sunscreens for a long time, but it can stain clothing and cause an allergic reaction in some people.

Waterproof?
If you will be swimming or sweating, choose a waterproof sunscreen. No sunscreen is truly waterproof, so you should reapply the sunscreen frequently, according to package instructions.

Choose a sunscreen that suits you. Some daily sunscreens aren't as gooey or smelly as some of the heavy-duty outdoor sport formulations. Some sunscreens come in spray-on, roll-on, and stick formats. Some sunscreens come with built-in insect repellent. If you dislike wearing it so much that you don't, it will do you no good. Wearing sunscreen need not be unpleasant, so smell and try different sunscreen brands and styles to find the one(s) that are best suited for you.

The word "sunblock" is a misnomer. Sunscreen slows the effects of the sun on skin by absorbing, reflecting, and scattering UV rays, but it doesn't stop them.

Apply plenty of sunscreen.
Apply the sunscreen generously.
Start ahead of time. Ideally, begin applying sunscreen at least a half hour before you go out.
Use more than you think you need. Most people do not use enough sunscreen, stopping at somewhere between one fourth and one half the quantity applied to test sunscreens.
Don't just grease it on. Put a little on and rub it in. Then do it again and again, until you have a deep, penetrating layer of sunscreen. Do it right and you won't notice it at all and it will truly protect.

Don't miss a spot!
Be thorough. Put it on the most vulnerable areas: the entire face and forehead, especially the nose and tips of ears, back of the neck, backs of knees, and arms. Make sure to cover all skin that will be exposed. Don't forget the tops of feet, if you're wearing sandals. Have a friend help with hard-to-reach spots like backs and shoulders.
Keep your sunscreen relatively fresh. Expired sunscreen may not be as effective as recently-purchased sunscreen, but in general, any sunscreen is better than no sunscreen. If there's no expiration date, try it and see if it still works, or replace anything older than about three years.
Applying one SPF 15 sunscreen and another SPF 20 sunscreen may give you slightly better coverage, but it does not add up to SPF 35.

A wide-brimmed hat. Cover up.
* Wear a hat with at least a 3-inch (8 cm) brim all around. A hat will also help to keep you cool. Baseball caps leave the ears and neck exposed, so they're not the best choice for sun protection. A hat will also help to protect your eyes from glare.
* Wear light-colored, loose fitting clothing. It will keep you cooler and help prevent sunburn by reflecting the sunlight. Be aware, though, that clothing may not block sunlight completely. In fact, an ordinary t-shirt may only be the equivalent of SPF 5. Look for clothing designed to block sun, even up to SPF 50, if you spend a lot of time outdoors.

They do more than look cool.
Wear sunglasses. Choose sunglasses that block UV light and wrap around to block light from the side, too. If you're not sure whether your old sunglasses adequately block UV, ask an optometrist to have them checked. Long term exposure to UV light can lead to cataracts. Wear sunglasses in conjunction with a hat.
Drink plenty of water.
Stay hydrated. Water is the best choice. If you'll be exercising heavily, a sports drink can help to replace electrolytes. Drink in proportion to how much you perspire, but remember that too much too quickly can harm you. It's best to take frequent, moderate portions. Too much sugar, as in soda, can undermine the benefits of the liquid, and alcohol can dehydrate you outright.

Relax in the shade.
Stay out of the sun. Especially between 10am and 4pm, stay out of the sun as much as possible. Finding a spot in the shade, carrying an umbrella or parasol, and scheduling outdoor activities to avoid those hours can help to minimize exposure.
7. Limit your total time in the sun.

A one-armed "trucker's tan".
Roll up car windows and run the air conditioning rather than dangling your arm out the window. Glass blocks UV light reasonably well.

9. Keep cool. If you have heavy physical activity to perform outside, try to do it in the morning or evening, not the heat of midday. Choose a shady spot to sit. Sip a cool drink. Take a swim.

Ask alice???

I just stumble to this website... ASK ALICE waaaaaa english version ni Itanong mo kay Jemme??? or what?

here is a sample letter:

Dear Alice,

Is there such a thing as "true love?" The reason I ask is that my observations of the world today indicate that there are more people getting divorced, getting cheated on, and breaking up than there are happy couples that are in love and stay in love. I mean, are humans mentally and physically capable of staying in love with someone and being faithful to each other?

Dear Reader,

If we base our idea of what true love is on children's fairy tales, we might think that finding prince charming or an enchanting princess and living happily ever after is the ultimate goal. Movies often portray this same storybook image — that falling in love is really just that: falling, out of control, toward that one person who is meant to be with you and you alone.

But for most mortals, striving for such ideals is unrealistic, and may even leave us feeling unfulfilled or let down. The reality is that being and staying in love takes continual work and patience, even though this might not seem utterly romantic, in that storybook sense. Couples who have healthy relationships find ways of working together, and this in and of itself could be considered a sign of true love.

It's true that in many cultures, people who are "in love" create long-term partnerships and/or get married. We may hear of the ever-rising divorce rate, but lots of these couples do actually stay together. Yes, there are couples that have been married for 60 years and still feel passionately in love, and there are others who care deeply for one another even though the lust is gone (or maybe never existed!) These long-lasting relationships really do exist, but we just don't hear about them as often. Most of the time, people (and the media) talk more about the break-ups than the relationships that maintain themselves over many years because it makes for more interesting (and profitable) gossip. Of course, sometimes we may not even want to hear about the happy, lovey-dovey couples because we're feeling romantically unlucky or lovelorn ourselves.

Keep in mind that the reasons why some relationships don't last are as varied as the different kinds of people we are; in many cases, the partners simply grow apart because they have grown and changed as individuals, and seek different, more fulfilling opportunities for love. If a particular couple "falls out of love," yet each partner goes on to seek a more satisfying love with another person, could this be an example of "true love" in action?

Love can also vary by degrees: some couples feel deeply intense and passionate, while others appreciate one another for intellectual reasons or admire one another's ambition, dedication, or creativity. When is the last time you read a fairy tale where the main characters appreciated each other's brilliant musicianship, eloquent writing, or compassion for humanity? (Well, maybe in Shakespeare's writings...)

Perhaps, just for fun though, it might help to look at this elusive "true love" in another light. Look around you and see all of the expressions of love in our world: people devoting huge chunks of their lives for the human rights of others, people setting aside time to volunteer and help others in their community, parents and caregivers protecting and nurturing their children and families, young people learning from and sharing things with their grandparents. Or, how about giving and receiving unconditional love to and from the animals in our lives?

So, are humans capable of staying in love? Alice would guess that they are, as there are lots of models around us of people who love and care deeply about one another. Some people follow the philosophy of "better to have loved and lost, than never to have loved at all." Instead of looking at all the heartaches around us, why not look to all of the examples of the different types of love in the world? Perhaps if we think of love as a broadly defined term, it's possible to see "true love" all around us.
