12th Year Of "Work In Progress"

Going through the Bible once again ... but this time started (Aug. 29 this year) from Genesis with Ptr. Chuck Smith's teachings...

Before I did finish half of the new testament started at John up to Revelation because the need to familiarize it for discipleship training, had a copy of all his teaching on my old hard disk. But it was a few years back (I don't do discipleship training anymore) and we do forget in time as I am learning a lot of new updates from my work tasks...

So!
Posting it on my blog for my reference...

The C-2000 series is Pastor Chuck Smith's Sunday evening commentary messages from 1979-1985. Click the transcript button to view the actual transcript for each sermon.

The thing I like about Calvary Chapel is that they go through the Bible book by book, chapter by chapter... When I started way back early 2008 it was their 7th Anniversary ... I didn't actually go to the church every Sunday till somehow after 1 month I did go every Sunday (New Testament) and Wednesday (Old Testament) because of the way they teach the Bible - it was Ptr. Ken Pascua that time ... he taught it very well and I got interested in the Bible itself.

And, Edging that time was the worship team leader... coincidence he sang it for practice... I was like what???
And, there is no coincidence with God...
After their practice, he asked me... "Aice there will be baptism this coming Sunday do you want to come?"
I asked the location and time... and then ... I said hmmm ok will see...

Then I decided to be baptized that day!

This year marks it as the 12th year and Oct. 11 is Sunday... How I wish I could celebrate it on Samal Beach.

For 12 years of following the Bible is definitely not easy... there are trials along the way...
Life gets complicated sometimes... people will call you a hypocrite, but if you think about it... who is really sinning in the eyes of God?

Usually, those who are "like the people who also judge Jesus Christ" himself and exchange HIS freedom to Barnabas the criminal.
Are you one of those people who judge other people from the way "you see it" right?

Matthew 23:3 (New International Version)
3 So you must be careful to do everything they tell you. But do not do what they do, for they do not practice what they preach.

But most people will see it as a "worldly standard right and wrong" battle.

Anyway, I may be wrong but the way I see it most people will do what other "most" people do that they think it's right because MORE people do it then it must be right.

They would even put it as "law" to make it the utmost right thing to follow.

Whew!

  1. Of late, I've come to learn that God wants us to Rightly Divide the Word of Truth (2 Tim. 3:15) and study to show ourselves approved unto God.

So, beginning with Genesis, Ch.12, and all of the Hebrew Scriptures, it will be found that all are concerned with Prophecy and the preparation for the Messiah and establishment of God's Kingdom on Earth through His chosen Nation, Israel. Read through Matthew, Mark, Luke and John and we'll find the King and the Kingdom offered to the same Nation of Israel, and rejected and Messiah crucified. In Acts, on the Day of Pentecost, we find that the Kingdom offered to the same people of Israel by the Holy Spirit through the twelve Apostles, but now with the additional evidence of Jesus'resurrection; and we find, the Kingdom rejected, twenty times, by the unbelieving Nation of Israel.

Only those who believed the Gospel of the Kingdom, were water baptized and became Born Again constituting the Bride of Christ, the Lamb of God. Read through the Hebrews and the Letters of James, Peter, John, and Jude and we find the same addressed to same people of Israel.
Finally, after Paul preaches the Gospel of the Kingdom to the Jews dispersed in the nations, and the same rejected, we find that the imminent Kingdom of God has been kept in abeyance.

And then, in tune with God's will, we find Paul preaching the Gospel of Grace and of Justification by faith to the Jews and Gentiles (Read from Romans through Philemon). Remember, this Gospel of Grace assuring Justification by faith alone in what Christ did, wasn't preached by Jesus, or by His 12 Apostles. So, Paul's Gospel, that was kept hidden in God before the disruption of the world, was now exclusively preached to both Jews and Gentiles; and, whoever believed the same, became a new creation in Christ. These Believers were baptized into the Body of Christ by the Holy Spirit and became the members of the spiritual body of Christ, without any Water Baptism. As such, there's no more need for water baptism.

It is now incumbent upon those who are a New Creation in Christ, to proclaim solely the Gospel of Grace and of justification by faith, (and not to preach the gospel of the Kingdom kept in abeyance), until Christ comes on the clouds and all the dead in Christ and those living on earth (constituting the Body of Christ) will be taken up to be with Christ on the clouds.

And then, will follow the Tribulation, and the Gospel of the Kingdom of the heavens promised to the nation of Israel will again be preached to all the gentile nations and the end will come.

Next, as prophesied in Revelation, Jesus Christ will establish the Kingdom of God on earth through God's chosen nation Israel and the knowledge of the true Living God will cover the entire earth as the waters cover the sea. Then, cometh the end, when God shall be ALL in All at the consummation of Ages.
