I was very surprise to hear in our local radio AM news at ABS-CBN that there will be marriage license renewal!
(huh! as in? are you sure of this?)
If this will happen, gone are the days when the marriage vows are to be taken seriously "Til death do us part"?
Now what will the vow be? Till renewal to us part?
We Christians should be aware of the way marriage begins to reflect the reality of human behaviour = "the world".
Some said that this will be the answer here in Philippines, since we don't have divorce and annulment takes time and lots of money... is renewal really the answer?
The answer begins with one questions, how do you really take marriage as what the Bible speaks.
Oh my, this topic is a very interesting debate.
So what do you think?
The world vs. The Bible

Hi Student,
ReplyDeleteIf I were "opposition" side I would go back to the basic of marriage and "how the marriage is exalted as precious". Do read to the Basic Instructions Before Leaving Earth (BIBLE) get verses like the Calvary Chapel Davao posted in here...
and what will happen to women if their spouse will leave them? for example if a lady married at 25 by 35 the man will not renew then it's so unfair in the women part...
and also tackle the economy of the Philippines we have so many poor people that can not renew or pay for renewal what will happen then?
